Project Overview

Zubair vai came to us with a dream — to turn his Dhaka apartment into a home that felt warm, well-organised, and truly his own. Originally from Gaibandha, he wanted a space that carried a sense of comfort and rootedness — not cold or overly urban, but liveable, inviting, and elegant.

The project covered the full interior of his apartment: two bedrooms, a spacious living room, a dining area, and a kitchen. Every room was designed and executed as part of one cohesive vision.

Galib bhai and the team made the whole process effortless. They showed me the 3D design first, guided me through every decision, and delivered a result that exceeded my expectations. My home now feels like something from a magazine. Highly recommend Dera Interior.

Our Design Process

As always, we began with detailed 3D visualisation before any physical work started. Zubayer reviewed multiple design concepts, gave feedback, and we refined the designs together until every room felt exactly right. Only after his full approval did our team begin on-site execution.

This process ensured zero confusion during construction — what he saw in the design is what he got in real life.

Materials Used

Gorjon Board (Gurjan Plywood) The primary structural material used across furniture, cabinetry, and fitted units. Gorjon board was chosen for its exceptional strength, smooth finish, and long-term durability — a reliable choice for residential furniture that needs to last for decades.

HPL (High Pressure Laminate) Applied as the surface finish on furniture, wardrobes, and kitchen units. HPL delivers a hard, scratch-resistant, and moisture-proof surface — ideal for high-use areas like kitchens and bedrooms. It also provides a clean, modern aesthetic that elevates the overall look of the interior.

Deco (Decorative Laminate / Deco Sheet) Used as a complementary surface material to add tonal variation and visual interest across different elements. Deco sheets bring warmth and texture to the design, preventing the space from feeling flat or monotonous.

The Result

Zubayer’s apartment went from an empty shell to a fully realised home — functional in every corner, beautiful in every detail. The use of quality materials ensures the interior will remain in excellent condition for years to come, and the cohesive design language across all rooms gives the home a sense of completeness that is rare in typical residential projects.
